Given our milestone birthdays, we wanted to celebrate with a great holiday. After months of contemplating we had decided to go sailing in the BVI (hence the Portsmouth refresher course).
It was a truly magical trip worth every penny and more.
When we arrived in the harbor and saw the sailboat, it looked pretty big... but as the week went on and we were on the water, it became smaller and smaller and by the end, we were super comfortable and happy we did not scale down.
The next couple of posts will be on this trip. I may need to make s separate book for it (~ to the magical Tasmania trip).
