The Olympics 2012

Now that we live in London, we felt we had no other choice than to go to at least one Olympic happening. If you look at the live broadcasts, every stadium still has lots of empty seats, but for some reason it is still difficult to get tickets.... (There is ample complaining about this in the newspapers by the way).

Anyway, Dirk was able to score some tickets for Women's volleyball (we were obviously not being picky), and somehow managed to score THE game: Brazil (defending gold champion) against USA (our favorites, obviously). The other game was Russia vs Dominican Republic.

I must say, it was a very fun experience and it does have something special, the Olympics. I whish we could do one more event, field hockey for example, but alas, too expensive!
