As part of the Christmas holiday activities we went to Jewel, the (fairly) newly opened terminal at Changi Airport. It is dome shaped building with a huge water fountain in the middle and all the stores and restaurants are positioned around it.
It is part of the network of terminals and really quite beautiful with lots of plants as part of the interior design.
While it was shocking and confrontational to see the empty terminals, and stranded planes, the mall itself is really beautiful with loads of fun activities for the children.
All in all it was a nice morning out, but not sure we would be doing it again. Sort of like, seen that done that.
