On the 24th we went for a later afternoon "dinner" with the 4 of us. That way we would not be so full in the evening and have time to digest all the wonderful food during the remainder of the day.
On the 25th it was finally time to open the long awaited presents in the morning and they were a hit for all of us. Dirk and I also went on a walk round McRitchy Park which was a lovely 11k (without the dog!).
In the afternoon we went over to Joost and Marlouke for a Texas style Christmas dinner complete with pulled pork, barbequed ribs, coleslaw, etc. Really delicious.
And on the 26 we has a low key day.
Relaxing, fun, together. A lot to be thankful for.
