Charity Gala
On the evening of Lina's birthday party, I had a charity gala with work. My first. The cause was to fund schools for children in poor countries that otherwise would have no access to books and lessons.
A very rewarding experience. Items were auctioned off during the evening to raise money. I tried to bid at some items but was consistently outbid (what a surprise...). I console myself with the fact I hopefully contributed to the higher price.
