Some other friends who currently live in Singapore were also coming right before New Year. We met them in Houston as well and between the three of us were able to create a strong friendship.
So safe to say we were very much looking forward to this reunion! It would also be the first time since our leaving party in Houston we would all be together again (husbands and kids included).
It turned out to be a magical couple of days! Beautiful chalet (aka the Stickhouse), delicious food, quality time, great New Year celebration, good skiing for the kids (not enough snow for the adults except for the last day, but that was actually perfectly fine as it allowed us to spend time with each other and the kids), treasure hunts, lots of catch-up, etc, etc.
I hope we will be able to do this again some time! A wonderful start to 2016.
