The first one fell out on 28 Jan while eating an apple. We were able to catch it as Mees felt it going out and spat out the apple piece that held the tooth.
She knew what to do as most of her friends had visits from the tooth fairy already, so she immediately ran upstairs to put it under her pillow. She was so happy the next morning to find the coin under her pillow!
The second tooth came out on 30 Jan while she was at school and bumped into another girl while playing. So that tooth was lost. Mees was afraid the tooth fairy would not come but we explained that the tooth fairy would be able to see that she had now lost two teeth and we decided to write a letter to explain what happened and put that under her pillow too. And yes behold, the next day another coin!
She is SO proud. :-)
