Struay does not really exist but is modeled after the Island of Coll, part of the inner Hebrides.
Mees, and therefore also Lina, are now so much into Katie, that we decided to go to the Island of Coll for Easter... bit of a gamble as it seems there is NOTHING to do there (which is also what the Island's website specifically points out), but apparently nature, quiet, pristine beaches, ... So why not?
Then end of term homework was to make your own Island. So that is what we did this weekend, as she needs to bring it in next week when school starts again.
We made it all together. Arts and Crafts is lots of fun! :-)
