One on Saturday before when Oma Ell and Opa Wim where still here, one on the morning of her birthday itself (as it was Tuesday and a regular school day) and one on the Saturday after when she had her big party!
So this post is about the morning of her actual birthday. The one of the party will follow shortly.
We bought her some presents and obviously, like any little girl around the world, the theme is Frozen! We got the dress and some dolls and a puzzle. And a button she could wear to school on her uniform.
She also opened the cards she received from family and friends. And now she can all read them herself which makes it extra fun.
After that it was time for the birthday cake that we baked ourselves the day before.
During the schoolday I think the class sang for her, and she was able to hand out little treats to the class. Mees was very proud and happy. Ready for her big party the Saturday after.
