At the same day that the moving company was packing our 'old' house the new windows were being installed. The renovation was always on a very tight schedule but this was cutting it really close.
First the window guys had to cut out the old wooden frames without causing too much damage to our newly painted walls. They did a great job but we still have to do a touch up here and there. The installation took longer than expected and our 110 year old house was not simply giving up her parts. The result was that they could not finish the installation in one day and had to come back a few days later.
They were just ready cleaning the rooms when the moving company started unloading the first truck. As mentioned this was planned all very well....
That same weekend the temperature dropped below zero and especially Lina’s room was a little bit draughty and cold.
By now the windows are finished and sealed and look great....’after’ pictures will follow.
