Very soon it became quite apparent we had to upgrade the dishwasher. Luckily we had some money left. Dirk again proved to be the ultimate Bob the Builder!
Dirk and I now both realize how somehow you cannot seem to stop pouring money in your house during a renovation. It is quite addictive somehow. But rest assured, we have put in some boundaries. The only things left are the downstairs toilet and our master bathroom upgrade and the front facade repair (which maybe will include the bay windows...). Then we REALLY stop. And the next thing will be the garden in the summer which we will do ourselves!
