Finally we kicked off the final part of the renovation. Two years after we finished the master bed. We are joining the dining room and kitchen at the back of the house, adding a utility room and expanding the terrace.
Everything should be finished end of May, in time for Mees to celebrate her birthday in the new space! :-)
Before we could start ,we had to clean out the existing space and cellar so we put a lot of stuff in storage. We also had to re-arrange our living space so the living room is now our kitchen area (only microwave for a couple of months) and the guest room is now the living room.
I cannot wait for it all to be finished. Give Mees and Lina the space to hang out with their friends, and have the extended outdoor space to enjoy those long summer nights. What will we do then with all our spare time? More to come.
