Holiday homework - Stone Age

When school broke up in June, Mees got a holiday homework project that she would need to bring in at the start of the new school year, going into year 3. The assignment was to learn about the Stone Age and to create something from that time.

She was very interested and so we all learned more about the Paleolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic time periods :-)

Mees also sketched out a village she wanted to build. When she has finished her list of items she wanted to create we bought some molding clay and set to work. It became a family project over a couple of weekends and we all had fun. I love these kind of things!!

Kinda proud. It is now in her classroom in school.
