Daddy's birthday

We both celebrated our birthdays late July (at this point in time our ages cannot be disclosed anymore :-)), and since Mees was home with me for the week, we baked a BIG very very chocolaty cake.

It turned out a bit girly for a daddy cake but that was because Mees could pick the decorations.

She was all excited she could finally put her YouTube lessons into practice.

Big square base cut in half and put together with buttercream icing in the middle

Then lots of chocolate icing with buttercream icing (colored pink) as decoration. The butterflies and flowers were pre-made.
